There was a huge crowd each morning to ride the ponies, they were definitely in huge demand.

Sean competed on the Wednesday and Friday and had two lovely clear rounds both days. He finished up in the top 12 with Newgrange Lady.

It was a successful week all round and we had great help from all of our liveries and the yard kids helping with the pony rides. A huge thank you to all.

July news:
Pony camp ran every week throughout the month with some new and some old faces returning each week.

We would like to welcome back a particularly old face to the yard who due to the leaving cert and study commitments had to take a years break. Katie Twyford-Long has been with us for over 7 years and it is always a pleasure to welcome back old customers.

The South county Dublin hunt show took place in Coilog which was a great weekend for everyone. Sean won the opening 1.10 speed stakes on Rachels Kilpatrick Fred on the friday.

Stephen was 2nd in the 1.10 young rider division on Saturday.

Sunday was a very busy day for everyone as all of our junior team competed as well. Congrats to Cian Smith on competing at his very first show and Hope Lowney. The pair will soon overtake their older brothers in the saddle.

Well done to Gavin Smith who was a busy man riding that day and also Con Lowney, Aaron Kearns and Kailtyn Nolan.

To top the day off Sean was placed 2nd in the 1.05 speed class on Kilpatrick Fred and Stephen won the 1.05 young rider divisions on his own Zandor.

It was brilliant to see such a huge support for team Carton at this event.

We would also like to congratulate our newest addition to the Kavanagh show jumpers; Ms Rachel Kavanagh who attended her first show on Clamper this July. She is doing brilliant and it is only a matter of time before she passes out Sean.
